Default Greetings from Helsinki, Finland!

Just dropping a line to say hello as a new member. My name is Axel, I'm a 31 years old Swedish speaking Finn living in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. As I'm new on this forum, I'm also a noob regarding audio electronics, so most of the talk in this forum will probably be way above my understanding, but maybe I'll learn along the way. My main objects of intrest in the field are music recording techniques, finding simple, analog solutions to create nice sounds. I'm into 60's, indie, lo-fi, experimental, warm sounds. And I just got my first diy project working: a spring reverb! I will make a post about it in some other thread. Now l'll go and take a look around this forum. All the best to all of you!

Welcome to the forum! I haven't seen a spring reverb in years- I used to use one and always managed to accidentally kick it and produce a horrible noise at least once during every gig.

Well, this one should definitely not be used on stage! It's made from a Slinky, and would probably just cause a constant rumble that would ruin the whole show

And the weird spring reverb is now posted in the 'musical instruments' section
