Hi from Uk, sussex.
Hi there!
Just returning to vinyl and 'hifi' in general after 20 years of other diversions. Bought myself a Project Genie which i am more than happy with at the moment - although i can see a cart upgrade in the stars.. My set up is nothing to write home about but then, im looking for good, open, enjoyable sound, not the nth degree of analytical or soundstaging, and those things can be had with modest equipment. I am more interested in DIY tweaking and additions, makes it much more fun than just buying it all pre made. At present, getting myself sorted with a decent phono stage and amp is on the cards, I see there are tube amp kits, which im am pretty interested in trying! See you all around! Best Dan |
