Default The LAST WATT.....

Well after a few years of lurking and being I am in semi development mode on some new ideas I guess it was time to join in on the ruckus....

The "LAST WATT" screen name in no means has anything to do with Mr. Pass of "FIRST WATT" fame...I figured it was a good choice being a few amps I have smoked trying new topology over the years were pretty good until the "Last Watt". Finally built a few sucessful designs for friends and family about 20 years ago, I had some pretty good results, then "work" reared its ugly head and intervened so the hobby was "shelved" for awhile until about six months ago. Now I have some free time and some new knowledge and ideas to try out.

I'm mainly a solid state kinda guy but will dabble into the "glass arena" one day. They do look cool or "hot", however your point of perspective may be. Having worked on high frequency sealing machines at a job long ago, the tube amps are definitely on my to do list. Currently working on some higher power solid state class A stuff right now. I will post some pics and thoughts as time progresses and if that preverbial "Last Watt" sends it to amp heaven, I will definitely post pics of the deceased before burial.

So without further ado....."stand back, I am going to turn it on now"
