Hi
I'm almost totally new to audio electronics.
I have circuit bent a few toys and drum machines but that was all
just crudely messing around.
Yesterday I bought a old Logan organ/synth.
which i seem to have been jipped on as
alot of the functions are not working.
So i have decided to try and do some fixing on it myself.
could someone tell me where i should start reading. or even the basic method
and i can start prodding around.
all i have is a soldering iron.I will buy a multi meter today or tomorrow.

I don't know the Logan. Is it valve or solid state? Find out what you can about it, then post you question in the appropriate forum.

Look at the musical instruments forum of general interest category for other musical hobiests.
You have to start somewhere. I started on car radios with the Ford car shop manual. That manual did not warn me about the lethal voltages on tube radio capacitors, and I knocked myself across the room on 440 VDC out of a 6 VDC car radio. Be sure to read the sticky thread at the top of the tube forum about tubes for newbies for basic safety practices. Any thing above 24 VDC can kill you even on transistor units, but once you know how to do it, it is like riding motorcycles or skydiving. Knowing how and not hurting yourself is confidence building.
