Default G'day all, I'm Felix from North Queensland.

G'day all, I'm Felix from North Queensland. I do a lot of electronics DIY so I thought I'd join up here. My big interest in audio is vinyl. Regards, Felix.

Hi Felix
Since you've already been welcomed by two of our outstanding moderators, there's actually little for me to add, other than welcome!

Best Regards,
TerryO (The same one)

Hi Felix, Greetings from South-East Queensland!!
You'll find a few of us Banana Benders on the forum.

Have a good time. I have just discovered the Queensland Audio Club. It is not exclusively Bris' based by any means so if your not aware of it you might like to check them out. A lot of high end "ready rolled" stuff but a few DIYer's too.

Jonathan

Jonathan,

I'm not sure I understand what "Bris' based" means. I do think that the comments of a few DIYers holds true for many audio clubs.
People like Felix are too few and far between, unfortunately.

Best Regards,
TerryO

Jeff,

I hope you're right, as my understanding has been that a Bris is the ceremony of ritual circumcision performed on male Jewish babies during the first month of life.

Best Regards,
TerryO

Let's hope I am. Good thing I don't remember that far back.

Gentlemen, and I assume it IS the gentlemen who are concerned.
Two things (a) I DID use an apostrophe in the original post and (b) a "cigar" for the man who recognized it as an abbreviation for the Queensland State capital, Brisbane.

Sorry to cause anyone any anxiety.......!

Take care, Jonathan
