Default hello from manila

hi to all!!
i have posting away and not yet introduced....i am tony from the philippines and 50 years old, i finished electrical enginnering course from a univeristy in manila and spent a good number of years working for the semiconductor industry from 1975 till about 1988, then worked overseas for contruction of oil refineries in africa then singapore...i have been an audio enthusiast since age 14...electronics is my first love.....i have done may leach super amps as well as daniel meyer's tigersaurus amps....

Welcome to the forum... a friend has the predessor to the Tigersaurous... how reliable did you find it?

if i remember it right, daniel meyer published in 'popular electronics' an article entitled "tigers that roar"' sometime late 60's or early 70's, then came tigersausrus, although i have know about them it took me years before i can finaly build one of them tigersaurus amps, i built around 20 of them....compared to leach, the amps were difficult when it came to offsets and was not as stable as leach amps, sound is also not so good in the mids and highs, although bass had a lot of punch...i still have plenty of boards but can not get the 40410/40409 drivers transistors...

Default Tigersuarus and parts for them

I built 15 Tigersaurus' about 30 years ago and I still have them and they still work. I just did a quick google search for 40409 and 40410 and it looks like this place sells them for ~ $4 each:
