Hiya folks! I'm from Head-Fi and Chicago. I'm entering into the world of hifi and so far I've gotten my DAC (EMU 0404 usb) and headphones (K701). The only thing left is an amp. I've decided to build myself an amb M^3 amp and σ11 PS. Because I'm on a rather tight budget, I'm hoping I can save a little more through group buys. Anyone here from Chicago?

I'm in Bartlett (Elgin area). Was willing to host a get together but no takers last fall. Still willing but door prize is gone. Tossed the Genuine White Van speakers in the trash. Was funny to see someone stop and take them home. I'd like to have been there when they listened to them. They were awful.
