Default Chip amps...what?

In the last 48 hours this site as well as extensive searches have uncovered an area of audio I though was long gone. DIY is apparently alive and well in the form of chip amps, gainclones, symasym, F5 and a whole host of other terms.

My first two posts here began to uncover this treasure trove and now I'm hooked on learning enough to build one of these critters.

Thanks for allowing me in!

Thanks to both of you for the greetings.

The more I read here, the more I'm reminded of when we use to make Dynaco ST-70's for $100 more than the kit price. Friends, classmates, family...they wanted the sound, but didn't want to build a kit. Several places here make me believe the "opportunity" is back!

:-)
