Default Fit Like?

"Fit Like?" is a Doric greeting, meaning "How are you?" Doric is a form of Engish spoken in Aberdeen and the surrounding area of north east Scotland. I'm English but moved 500 miles north in 1997. As a teenager in the mid '70s I was keen on DIY electronics but lost interest when ICs became the norm rather than discrete transistors. It is now time for a mid-life crisis so I'm getting back into the hobby. At the moment I'm trying to learn about valve equipment and have acquired a '50s HMV radio, a '50s Collaro reel to reel recorder and a '30s HMV radiogram. At some point I'm hoping to build a replica tape loop based echo guitar amp. of the sort used by Chet Atkins in the mid '50s.
