Hello to all DIYers from Germany

Hi everybody!

I only recently found this great site while looking for information on John Linsley Hood's RIAA amps and immediatley needed to register.

My name's David from Germany, near Munich. I've been into electronics
all my life - well, nearly. My main interest has always been audio electronics as I also love music and have a nice collection of records.
So I've built quite a few things for my own stereo over the years:
- Rod Elliot's P3A is currently (has been for 8 years now) my main power amp
- Small stereo mixing desk
- several valve preamps and RIAA amps
- JLH K1400 discrete RIAA

I'm also interested in everything to do with magnetic tape, especially
reel to reel decks and compact cassette.
I still use both on a day to day basis, cassettes mainly for car use.

I work as sales clerk for a small electronics retailer, so there's not much
I can't get my hands on, wich is nice .

Now, compared to what some of you guys here have built I'm just a
little amateur. Some of the stuff I've seen here has totally blown me away.
I hope to learn a lot on this forum.

Now, I wanted to keep this short.
