I am a retired Electrical contractor in CA,USA and Senior Electrical Inspector City of Los Angeles. I take apart a lot of microwaves for parts, Projection tvs crt type and large crt tvs as well as a host of cd and dvd players. Old Heathkit builder and almost an expert at flyback type power supplies as well as transformer type power supplies. Have a myriad of parts and small motors and eyes (CD).

So you retired from L.A. and went all the way to Florida? Good move, but how do you cope with the humidity?
