Hi all!
I stumbled across this site looking for modifications for my Cambridge Audio gear. Found it very useful so thought I would sign up and introduce myself. You will see me in the thread in the near future. Bit about me... The CA gear is now out of warranty so its time to play! I started in car audio and then moved to 2 channel home audio. My car: I am running Morel Pulse 6 splits up the front, no rears, and a 12" Vibe Blackair II+ sub in a custom fibreglass box in the boot. Fronts are powered by a 2x150Wrms amp and the sub by a 1000Wrms monoblock. Cables are a 2G power cable from the battery and high end Stinger RCAs and figure 8 for the audio. Power and signal are run down opposite sides of the car. Front doors are fully sealed and sound deadened with Focal Plain Chant tiles behind each driver. My Home: As stated before, I have Cambridge Audio 640A V2 and 640C V2 sending sound to some Ascension Floorstanders. They are custom Summoner 1073TL which is a 3 way Transmission Line setup. 10" main woofer, 5.25" midrange, high end Vifa tweeter. Finished in real wood American Oak veneer and stained gloss Jarrah. They weigh around 40kg each, 6ohm, 26Hz-40kHz, 92dB and 160Wrms (music power). Made from 25mm MDF. I look forward to seeing what this site has to offer regarding tweaks etc Cheers Pete |

And a welcome from a Victorian.
Some very smart people here and a genius or three ( I'm not one of those ) so ask away and some-one sometime will answer from somewhere. Religion and politics aren't allowed on this forum so I can't mention Aussie Rules Football ( which - of course - is both )
