Default Hello all.

My name is Bryant , I'm 30, I live in Santa Ana California and I'm a construction plumber by trade. I'm interested in headphone audio and home audio. I've put together 5 or more systems for my cars & trucks, box building was always fun because woodworking is also a hobby of mine. Now i want to learn to read electronic schematics so I can start building my own amp's to go with my speakers.

Hi Bryant....welcome.
Wanna start building/rolling your own? Ya know back in the Fifties(?) most "Audiophiles" built their own gear?......before it became 'popular' to have a nice stereo.
Ever considered building tube-based amplifiers?
It really is cool stuff & most people have no clue what a tube amp is or how it works! Easy to learn tho' from your prospective.
So....hows your math skills??

Wow, you guys are quick. Thanks for the warm welcome, I own a calculator and know some formulas to calculate 45 and 22 degree offsets for piping, that's about it. Tube audio does interest me alot!
