Default 1 hi hello

hello,

thank you for letting me in on your nice forum you have here.

i have a keen and active interest in anything that goes between electric guitar strings and the rarefied and compressed air out in front of a speaker cabinet. i've built several tube amplifiers from 8-100 watts, many speaker cabinets, effect pedals and guitars. i occasionally repair equipment for a local music store and have built a few amps for other people, mostly friends. i am fond of distortion.

in my spare time i'm a machinist, wood worker and sculptor.

for work, i make puppets for tv and tv commercials. my big claim to fame is doing all the puppets and props for mtv's celebrity deathmatch (with my sister and many other people of course). however, things are pretty slow right now so here i am reading about mosfets in the middle of what should be a work day, thinking about a cardboard sign that says "will intonate for food".

cheers,
pat
