Anyone out there from Madison, WI. I've been here 13 yrs. I just built my first el84 hi fi. I'd like to have others hear it. It would be less subjective a review. I like the sound, although I have attempted a negative feedback loop and I hear no audible difference. Maybe some local ears could shed some light.

I'm in Mineral Point, WI. Less than an hour drive West. Can't say I make it into Madison too often, PM me though if you're still looking for a pair of ears...

I don't get to Madison but I have a couple of El 84 se amps, and also build from scratch. Other endevors have been and continue are clone guitar amps. I enjoy creating tonal differences in each circuit (Old School).
Have a great day, Mike(mltube)
