Default Hillbilly playing with electricity

Hi all, long time tinkerer, first time poster. I've run across this site a few times looking for things, finally decided to join. You all have a wealth of information here I'd love to take advantage of! I was an electrician in the Navy, but never really got down to component level, and most of my electronics knowledge was lost years ago, after my initial schooling, so I'm digging through my old books and relearning much of it. So stay tuned for some questions!
