Hello all,
I am a young DIYer from the UK traveling for a year in Australia. I am looking for someone in Sydney or the surrounding area that might be interested in a short term apprentice. Whether its helping out for a few hours a week or a few hours a day. I am very keen and a feel like I need to keep my amp building up after uni before I forget it all. Im up for anything at all, although I really have a passion for valve amps.
I thought it was worth posting this here just in case anyone was interested.
Looking forward to any replies

Hello Charlie - and Welcome to diyAudio!!!
You might look around to the musician and guitar shops 'cause many guitar amps use tube (valve) amplifiers.
The problem with fixing gear for musicians is that they often stash stuff in the amp and then forget they put it there - so be aware that there could be stuff inside (besides electricity) that will knock you on your bum.
ps ........ no, you are not allowed to ask how I know
