Default Greetings to y'all from North Carolina

My apologies for not introducing myself earlier. I've been learning about tubes for the last year or so by reading through the various audio sites. This looks like the cool place to be! I've now built an Ultrapath preamp, the Billie 300B monoblocks, and recently purchased some Fostex FX200's, which are sitting on open baffles right now. I look forward to learning a lot here, and hope at some point to contribute!

Thanks,

Brian

Interesting coincidence. I moved to Charlotte from the Bay Area. I lived in Marin County for 10 years.

Welcome aboard!

I grew up in Rocky Mount and still have family scattered around NC, including Charlotte.

Hi briand, and welcome to diyAudio

I'm afraid my only connection with Charlotte was waiting in transit at the airport there for 6 hours after my flight was cancelled! Ho-hum

I always look forward to the Rocky Mount signs on 95 because it means I'm closer to the border. I like the western part of the carolinas. Lots of beautiful country and views. It's flat where I live.

Default Used to be???????

You mean back when the lack of a decent road system wasn't a major pain.......?

Watch out for that JamMan.....he is almost as big a trouble maker as me.

Like I said......almost......

Welcome

I know where NC is on a map... haven't been to the east coast of the US yet -- except a week in NYNY.
