Default Introducing myself...

My name is Tom Twining, I was born in 1958 and got introduced to audio by my dad's home-brew tube gear. I can still remember falling asleep on the basement floor at age five next to our old hot-air furnace listing to The Beatles, Ian and Sylvia, Bach, and The Band thru the ductwork - and, as Tube-Head said in his intro - I was sold...

My audio projects so far:
- 2 Hypex UCD180 small-box 2/ch amps w/linear supplies.
- 2 Hypex UCD400 HTPC implementations powered by ColdAmp SMPS
(1 w internal ASIO/Onkyo PCI signal chain - 1 w external USB SpitFire DAC)
- 2 pair passive 2641's (3-way)
- 2 pair active 2641's re-designed to support the DDC552 plate
- 4 pair "Avatar" 74"x8" active hybrid-dipole (3-way DDC552 plate)
- 2 pair "Ogre" 60"x12" performance-space loudspeakers (active/passive 3-way DDC552 plate)
- a pile of various amped HTPC's....
- and, (in progress since he died), a full rehab of Dad's bottle-gear!

I have been a member of the Diyaudio board for a number of years which has been invaluable - for many reasons. :-)

If all goes well I hope to see some of you at Burning Amp...

Best Regards,
Tom

I was starting to get worried, going down your list and not seeing anything hollow-state,since that's how you got hooked.
