Hello, all. Now, first of all I have to say that I do not know anything about DIY audio. I know about guitar, bass, PAs, and stuff, but I don't know about the electronic part of them. I have been in the process of learning about electronics for the past 6-7 months, I'd say. I hope to gain much knowledge here.

I am 13 (to be 14 in June) and am in 7th grade.

I'm into music and computers basically. I've been a percussionist for 3 years. One of my favorite drummers is Jimmy Chamberlin. I've been playing bass for about a year (not very skilled in the bass area). One of my favorite bassists is Stu Hamm. Some of my favorite bands are U2, The Smashing Pumpkins, Zwan, Radiohead, Coldplay, Oasis, The Cure, Rush, Dave Matthews Band, and some others I probably forgot. I'm also into computers. I just finished building a new computer over Spring Break.

You've come to the right place, Confusitron. Ask sensible questions and you'll get good answers from top people all over the world. The converse is true too. The best and smartest people in their field dwell in this forum. Why, we even invented electricity, hifi etc right here.
Now, lets just hope people don't "confuse" you and I.
