hi all, i am new to this outfit,so please bear with me for a while. being rather unfamiliar with all the info on 4x10 cabs that is on dis;pay, its confused me even more. I recently bought a secondhand trace elliot 4x10 cab which sounds great,as it is,however having handled it a few times,i am coming to the conclusion that it is by far too heavy for me to handle mainly on account of my height, being that i am only 5ft 3insand the cab is nearly half my height.,had i known that it was as heavyas this i may have reconsidered, however as it was on ebay and i had won it, i had an obligation to ebay and their rules in participating in their auctions with regards to winning bids etc. I am thinking of the possibility of using a lighter carcasswith the drivers that are in th Trace, any info as to where I can find a extremely light weight carcass, and what the costs may be.The weight of this 4x10 is around 39-42 kgs or maybe more,as the cab was produced back in 1985/6and it is absolutely solid, any suggestions and advice would be welcome as i am as i said earliernot very well up in this knowledge, and with a lot to learn by all accounts. thank you for looking The bass lucian rebera

Hi Lucian and welcome to the forums. You might wish to ask this question over in loudspeakers as not everyone looks into the introduction area. Good luck with it.
