Default HELLO, easy reading

Just a new member saying HI.

I was wondering if anyone could suggest any reading material pertaining to opamps and power amps for the slightly informed.

It has been 10+ plus years since college and I have forgotten some (most) of what I learned about them for use in audio amps and general use.

I became painfully aware of my ignorance when moding a DS-1 distortion pedal monday.....

thanks and hi

Welcome marcofry, don't get discouraged you have came to the right place.

Rod Elliott has an excellent site full of articles, projects and info. Here is one article on Op amps for beginners

http://sound.westhost.com/dwopa.htm

and here is the link to his main page, which should have most of the answers you are seeking.

all the best, hope you find what your looking for.

thanks for the reply,
It looks like there is enough in the wiki to keep me busy for a while. there is also a lot of info in the tube section of the forum for "noobz"or a fella needing a refresher.
Looks like this forum is full of all sorts of electronics info idk why I haven't found it before now!!!
