Default introduction

Hi there

I am from the Netherlands and am an audio-maniac, my goal is to have my system at the highest level, without cashing out a fortune on ,what I call, voodoo, I mean cables of solid gold and all that ****, nice for people who have too much money, to boost the economy, not my thing though.
I have been playing active for the last 25 years, and I still think it is the best way to improve the sound of your system, now I am playing around with an active set-up, using 6 chipamps and 2 cheap Behringer active crossovers, it is remarkable how good the systems sound! On my reference system I have spend tenfold, ok it still sound better, but not much!
I joined in, because my knowledge on electronics is minimal, and building your own amps sometimes is a bit tricky, esspecially when using parts that were not meant to be used in the set-up, with other words modifying stuf....
I hope I can get some support from you guys, and I will answer any questions if I can.

tojoko, my motto WE NEED MORE POWER....

We have a lot of folks here that know about those horn thingies!

We even have quite a few that are pretty good about tooting their horns!!
