Default Hihihi

And Hi. I am Chris and I'm happy to find a good turnout of knob/board/bit twiddlers here. I've been into audio in one way or another for a decade or so and I've always had an interest in the electronic side of things but never done more than a bit cable soldering and basic kit repair.

I'm stepping up now by replacing the pre's on my FW1884 and adding some preamp and firewire protection. I'm almost there on what to buy to do this, and will be posting some ?'s another topic soon .

I've just completed my PAT testing course (accomplished electrician's - please don't hurt me) and I'm looking for what to do next as I'm not finding much in the way of part time electronics studying in Newcastle UK. I think full time needs to happen maybe. If anyone can recommend any course for a noob electronics gadge to look at in the area (or universal course/exam), your comments would be appreciated.

See you on the board!

Chris
