Hello seafire and Welcome to diyAudio!
You might want to pose your question regarding PM94 on the solid state forums. It would help if you could obtain a service manual - often findable via the Internet. Do you have any electronic test equipment available to you? This site might help with a service manual - but if you type in "marantz PN94 service manual" into your search engine several sites will come up. You might be able to find one on eBay as well. http://www.eserviceinfo.com/download.php?fileid=21188 Hope this helps!
