Default New to DIY, not so new to Audio

Hi all! Just trying to get my feet wet in the DIY audio world since I have taken an intense liking to the idea of creating my own speakers, headphones, amps, and DACs.

I am iffy on all the sub-components of an audio component like caps and inductors and how much volts and current should go where and why.

Is the Intro Wiki for diyAudio.com going to be expanded and more detailed? It would be nice if new DIYer could get a bit more information on the why and what so they can understand the where, when and how better.

Or if someone had any other sources for newbies, please let me know.

Thanks for an awesome DIY forums!

We would like that very much. It is a user created portion of the website... we are hoping that the new Wiki SW that will come along with the next upgrade of the forums BBS software will help, and that we can encourage more members to work on the wiki.
