Default hi to all

Hello to all enthusiasts out there,
I am an ex electronics design engineer and over a number of years have built and modified quite a bit of audio equipment.
My current setup incudes valve/fet power amps x4 (home built) jordan jx92s with visaton ribbons bi-amped in solid oak cabs with sealed peerless sub built into block wall and meridian cd player.
Regards to all gsd.

Hello gsd and welcome to the forums. Your set-up sounds really nice. Perhaps you can show us some pics?

Hello gsd and Welcome to diyAudio!

Look up Colin in the users group as he knows quite a bit about the Jordan's and puts a bug in Ted's ear every so often.

Danger! Danger! Thinking like this could well get you over to BudP's EnABL thread and lead to putting a bunch of little dot's on those puppies! BEWARE!! BTW - I think I still have some of the secret ingredients around here somewhere

Pictures as requested, showing amp (broken handle has no effect on sound quality!) and speakers with and without sub cover.
Amp is split into two sections, open loop valve gain stage with cathode followers and fet source follower o/p stage without neg feedback. It has an error correction stage monitoring source follower input and output adding a correction signal to make the output to equal the input. Its my own design based on an old paper by Siliconix and has been working well now for over 10 years. (thats tempting fate for you)
Regards, gsd

I'm not sure of the details of how you do it - I think there are details around here somewhere tho. I do know that posting more than one photo involves storing them on a server and then showing the IP address and file in the text of your reply will link to your photo's. Be mindful of making them to large as some folks on here do not have or use a high speed internet connection and large photo's can take quite some time to load onto their PC's.

Smashing work you have done there gsd!
