Hello from Scotland

Just saying hello.
Kind of got here by accident after discovering (a couple of years ago) that a new £500Roksan CD player was no better than my significantly cheaper and older Marantz - I took it back after 24hours of hard listening a got a full refund.

Since then I've been trying to learn what really does make a difference and I'm looking to build some speakers - would like to build a pair of Linkwitz Orions but ain't got that kind of money so am considering the Pluto-2 but am open to suggestions since it's still quite a lot of dosh to fork out on a kit that I've never even heard...
