Default Hello

Hi all,

I've stumbled across this site a few times, and finally decided to register. This site seems to be a great technical resource for us DIY types.

I'm a software programmer with a passion for music reproduction. I haven't really tackled any DIY audio projects, but I often tend to build things myself for other hobbies. I'm looking into building a turntable currently. I have decent machining (metal lathe and milling), welding, and wordworking skills. I've done a bit of electronics work as well, though I don't know enough to actually design something. You tell me where to solder, and I'll do it though.

Hopefully I'll be able to contribute some knowledge back to the rest of you!

-Nate
