Default Confused Hobbyist - HELP

I am a hobbyist with a problem which is how I found this forum. A year ago I took apart a Halloween animatronic...(Zoltar) I can't figure out how to put it back together. I have a wire that doesn't seem to go anywhere (red/white lead)and a tiny microchip(I think) attached to a yellow wire that seemingly triggers the action. If anyone is familiar with revamping something like this....Please help, it's almost Halloween.

Thank you

Mrs.Camelot
