Hello from Glasgow!
Delighted to join this forum! Just a few notes about me: I'm a recording engineer by trade, and naturally strive to have a system that I enjoy listening to at home. I was originally trained as an electronic engineer, and although some of my electronics knowledge now is sometimes a bit rusty, I'm more than capable at wielding a soldering iron and a bunch of new caps at some bit of ageing audio kit, and doing other basic troubleshooting and repairs As a recording engineer, I also have a penchant for using vintage recording equipment, professional tape machines in particular. Anyway, enough about me! Very pleased to join. BTW, my first name is Colin |

Hi Colin. We're delighted to have you here!
Read around the forum for a while and that rust will start wearing away What sort of music are you usually involved with as far as recording goes?
