Smile Hello from Glasgow

Hello from Glasgow!

Delighted to join this forum!
Just a few notes about me:

I'm a recording engineer by trade, and naturally strive to have a system that I enjoy listening to at home. I was originally trained as an electronic engineer, and although some of my electronics knowledge now is sometimes a bit rusty, I'm more than capable at wielding a soldering iron and a bunch of new caps at some bit of ageing audio kit, and doing other basic troubleshooting and repairs

As a recording engineer, I also have a penchant for using vintage recording equipment, professional tape machines in particular.

Anyway, enough about me! Very pleased to join.

BTW, my first name is Colin

Hi Colin. We're delighted to have you here!

Read around the forum for a while and that rust will start wearing away

What sort of music are you usually involved with as far as recording goes?
