hello eveyone. just signed up after lots of dipping in and out on this great forum. I'm based in London and am a long time member of a (now retired ) sound system. I am an avid record collector and occasional D.J.
this site looks a lot of fun with some excellent posts/ threads

hi, glad to be here,
by a sound system, I mean it in the Jamaican sense of the phrase. Where a rig of amps, speakers etc are taken to various sites for the enjoyment of loud, heavy music.
Although this is somewhat in the past for me as we have all got a bit older now.
Those scoop bins aint light!
