Default Hello from Groningen

Hi,

I'm Kasper.
I have been making music for the last five years. Something in the experimental electronics field. I started with looping cassette decks without tapes and skipping records on pick-up's with self made / self damaged needles, later on mixing this with various software.
Summer 2006 I graduated at the Art Academy in Groningen, the Netherlands. My final work was a series of performances with many pick-up's and cassette decks and the pressing of a vinyl lp with audio works made during my studies.

Now, after two years of using mainly field recordings and software to create music I'm about to go back to collage. I will start with my master in interactive media and environments soon. I will be making my own instruments there. This includes software and hardware programming and making interfaces (soldering things etc).

At his point I have very little knowledge about all these things but I believe I will be able to understand the logic of all this. Nonetheless I have to work hard to master these skills.

I hope you all can help me out at times.

Greetings

K

At least you have your good plan.
And also you know what you want to achieve.
Your great knowledge about your electronical instruments
will help you to pin point what they need in terms of electronical support circuits.

This will make your plan much easier to live up to.
And you can study those bits you want to learn about electronics & circuits.

It is not that easy always to help people out, that are not sure or have not the knowledge even to know what they need or would want to do.

welcome
