Well, just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm another newbie, a canuck one at that too!
I'm just starting to get into the diy scene, and starting to learn more about building and electronics in general. Up until I read about how, I shouldn't say easy, but not hard it is to build an amp, I was looking into purchasing a decent integrated one. But I always preferred a hands-on approach, and think this is great! So, I'm gonna try my hand at it and hopefully won't electrocute myself doing it lol. Pretty nice bunch around here though, I read quite a few threads and most people seem nice! So different from most message boards. |

Hello and welcome,
Yes, this forum and its members is very different from the others in a very positive way. Although we have had our ups and downs and a occasional fall out every now and then, but heck even the best family would have those, no? Given that we are so international diverse too. Hope you enjoy and find this forum useful for you. Chris |

Hi elizard and welcome
Learning is fun, especially when you get something you made from your own hands at the end of it. Good luck, and there are plenty of people to help out if it goes wong Quote:

even when i try to refresh, sometimes i have to wait 30 minutes for them to show up?

Hi elizard
Because we have had problems with spam and virii, all posts from new members have to be approved by a mod before they appear on the forums. As we are a little shorthanded at the moment it can take a couple of hours. Sorry. However this only applies to your first dozen or so posts. After that, you will be free to post as you wish and replies will appear instantly
