Hello All-
Inspired to join by another member from PDX who has a thread going on the very speakers I'm interested in building, the Zaph SR-71s. Pretty much an amateur here, I've built two sets of speakers, a two-way design from Meniscus Audio (15 years ago) & recently, an MTM designed by Mike McCall (very respected from what I'm able to gather) from Shamrock Audio (no longer in the speaker game, I understand). I listen to mainly classical music, so my interest is in speakers that sound big & full when required but with a sweet, non-harsh string sound, even at full orchestra, something I don't have right now. I ain't askin' for too much, am I ?? Thanks to all for your shared interest, knowledge & willingness to share. |

Thanks very much. Amazing to see all the worldwide contributions of knowledge & ideas. Speaker building is an obsessive-compulsive behavior without borders it seems ! Hope to learn much, contribute if I can.
