Hi everyone

Hi, I've just joined up, thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm based in the UK (wet old Cornwall!), just moved house and got enough space to set up my hi-fi kit again. Powered it up the other day and had a listen (first time in over a year). I'd forgotten what decent kit (well, mid range I suppose) sounds like.

Not sure what else to say, so here's a quick rundown of my rather eclectic setup:

Cambridge Discmagic 1 Transport
Cambridge Dacmagic 2 DAC (Burr Brown 2132 op amps - not sure what other mods)
NAD 2200A (monster power amp)
Magnepan SMGa speakers

I think I'll start by doing a few mods to my cd and dac (clocks and power supplies), then I like the idea of a power follower mosfet amp driven by a tube voltage gain stage. But that's probably a crazy idea technically!
