Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.
My name is Arthur, I work full time as an Operations Technician at a local chemical plant. We make pigment additives (silicate based, harmless) for the paper industry. I also have a small hobby-business, more hobby than business, repairing speakers and stereo gear.
I'm pretty handy, but there are some guys around here who have me in awe of their knowlege, hopefully I will be able to absorb some of it, and maybe even contribute a little of my own.
I am also on AK as tarior.

Welcome, we are all quite mad here, but very pleasant company.

Since you are in Washington State are you are near the I-5 corridor? Some pretty neat things are being done, from Seattle up through BC and being in speaker repair, you might just want to get involved.

Drop in here http://www.planet10-hifi.com/ and take a good look at the cone surface on the top driver shown, a Fostex 127eN Dave Dlugos has just released into the world. If you are intrigued, look here, though it is a pretty long thread by now. EnABL Processes

A number of folks have treated their ears to what is shown, and it is easy and inexpensive to do.
