Hi, I am Andrzej from Poland. I am surprised I did not enter this forum many years ago. Now comes a moment at my life to engage my head with the electronics again and forget about other things, even for a while. I am an electronic engineer but my first experiences dates back to the early 60-ties when I build my first radio long waves transistor receiver using gas burned soldering iron.

In 1999 I made two Son of Zen monoblocks, look at the following link http://www.passdiy.com/gallery/soz-p12.htm.

I have approx. 91 dB speakers: Suspense’93 (kits of Focal speakers) I made housings according to the Mr. Manfred Zoller design.

SOZ sounds pretty good but I am tired of the terrible heat generation. I have a feeling I need something better like A9, f3 or f4. I would like to build one of them, so I will appreciate very much if Forum help me with advices: do my speakers fit new projects, especially f4, where to buy some parts and what to do with buzzing mains transformers.
