As a long time "lurker" from this forum, I felt the need to register ;-)
As a profession, I started out as an electronics design engineer of X-Ray power supplies, and I'm now a project leader. I'm not really a "DIY-person", but occasionally I poke with my Weller soldering iron in some equipment ;-) I own two Quad amplifiers (34 and 303), that I reworked and slightly upgraded. Besides that I made my own guitar amplifier and cabinet (100W into one 12" Celestion speaker). When I'm not in my "lab" I listen a lot to music (John Hiatt, Neil Young, Warren Zevon, Jackson Browne, Joni Mitchell, to name a few), and do a lot of reading. Thanks!, Folkert |
