Hi Y'all
I would like to build a very simple active Stomp box for guitar
that would provide about a boost in gain.
Similar to a pedal that Roland offers without the EQ portion.
The idea is to replace a volume pedal not make distortion.
This box would boost the signal a bit for lead or cut it back for rythm.
Does anyone have a circuit for this? Or could possibly recommend
a chip to use? Op Amp?
Something that uses a 9V battery.
Thanks

That Solo Pro would do it. It's basically like adding two volume pots to your guitar with a switch to switch between them.
I'd think you'd want to use a 100k or 500k audio taper pot like your guitar does. Though 1M shouldn't do anything, just gives more resistance the more you turn it.

Yes, that's an A/B level circuit, but that's passive, and would not add gain to your signal. Try www.generalguitargadgets.com and look at those mini-boosters or something like that...
Don't forget www.tonepad.com
