Hello,
I'm fixing a Korg Stage Echo 300 that has a shorted bias IF transformer.
As expected I couldn't find any markings on the part as well as the schematic that only shows it's variable, center tapped on both primary and secondary.
..what would you do in this case?
I can see a short on the secondary and if I lightly touch the casing of the transformer the primary also shorts making the current limiting resistors (39ohms) burn.
I attached the bias circuit.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Alex
