So I finished a point-to-point AA1164 Princeton Reverb amp build.
However, I've been experiencing some issues.
When I turn the volume knob, it makes a clearly audible (not very loud) click sound. It only happens if I turn it fast enough - if I do it very slow then there is no click.
Also, it makes ugly crackling type of distortion artifacts from time to time, when played at maximum volume.
Other than that, it sounds good, and the voltages are within tolerances.
Any suggestions to what might be the problem? Any advice would be appreciated.
