I´ve tried going through the interweb for information on the space charge low voltage tubes, especially the combination type tubes.

Found this listing: Space Charge and Other Low-Voltage Tubes

I´ve recently got more and more into tubes and how they work and thought I´d try putting something together with these low voltage ones.

There seems to be a lot of triodem pentode and tetrode tubes with diodes in them. I first came to think of a clipping circuit using two diodes and thought if the diodes in these tubes could be utilized in such way. But I since the cathode is always the same for all the plates is there a way to use the one diode of say two 12AJ6 tubes to build this rectifier?

Also one thing I thought of using the diodes would be a compressor like circuit, or is this kind of circuit easier to achieve with a sharp cutoff pentode for example?

Mostly I´m thinking of using these in a stomp box configuration. So if anyone has ideas or wider knowledge of usage of these functions in a tube I´d be glad to read more.

EDIT: http://www.w7ekb.com/glowbugs/rx/Clipper/clipper.htm Here´s a very interesting circuit I found. This is one thing that attracted me to think of using the additional diodes in these tubes for limiting. But here the diode tube has separate cathodes.
