i got an amplug2 classic rock for training. till now its very good and i get very nice sounds out of it. exactly what i wanted.
but when i crank up the gain after some minutes it suddenly shuts down for some minutes. the only thing i can guess is a protection mode. i already changed batteries and headphones- the problem stays the same.
did you experience the same on one of these models? if it persists i could take it to the seller or try turning down the volume - or gain. its a little bit annoying to take care not to crank it up too much. i dont want to bash vox for the problem because on one hand it produces really nice sounds. i really dont want to take it apart because its under guarantee.
could it be some impedance matching problem ? ibanez gsa60 playing here.
