Aloha,

Handmade ukulele pickup system of SBT piezo & ECM mic.
SBT piezo uses the design of K&K Sound pickups, two piezo disc-elements glued on the reinforcement plate under the bridge operate in a passive mode.
ECM mic pickup is the same of my Fishman replica.
The photos show all the parts of the system and are easy to understand how it is made. More photos are available at http://ukelele.weebly.com

Mahalo!

can you attach the schematic?

Hi,

There is no internal preamp and/or blender schematic, these two pickups go to the stereo end-pin jack, that's it!........ only the Oktava electret mic has its own preamp by the miniature 1x2 cm internal transformer with the supply of three coin LR-44 batteries - 4,5 V.
End-pin 1-pin: Piezo-element: two 12 mm piezo-discs wired in parallel
End-pin 2-pin: Oktava MKE-5B mic
The small internally mounted plastic box holds the mic transformer, batteries and combines and does a commutation of all the connectors.
Sounds and works super-perfect!
Just a very short note on the UST piezo pickup system: my thought is that this particular system is built onto the entirely wrong way to amplify stringed instruments because it operates the way to interfere sound to go from the strings to the soundboard...... isn't it ?

Good luck!
