I've some of this tubes
2Ж27Л - 4Ж1Л - 12Ж1Л - 4П1Л and I'm interested about to use for an amp (guitar amp) So I'm looking for schematics however any proven audio schematic using this tubes is of interest for me Thanks Kagliostro |

Hi Wavebourn
That is an interesting drawing, a bit complicated if compared to the schematics I'm used to see (guitar amp schematics, not Hi Fi amp), but interesting, many thanks for sharing ![]() @ Kevinkr I apologize ![]() Kagliostro |

Yes, for guitar amp it is no good. It is high-end amp, used in well controlled listening. Driver stage has negative swing limited by negative voltage supply, so clipping will be hard and harsh. For guitar you may use 12P17L and 12J1L similarly to Fender Champ schematic.

About the complication at which I was referring Wavebourn has perfectly understand what I was intending (as from his answer) about the use of 12J1L (12Ж1Л) I've one, but no 12P17L (12П17Л) May be I can use the 12Ж1Л + 4П1Л like in this schematic, but sure I need councils as to use for guitar instead than for his original purpose (hope someone can give indications about) Kagliostro |

You can use 12Ж1Л + 4П1Л like 6SJ7 + 6V6 in Fender Champ schematic. However, you will need 2 different filament voltages.

Hi Wavebourn
The direct cathode heater of the 4П1Л is confusing me a bypass cap isn't necessary ? (Fender 5C1 6v6 cathode = 500ohm + 25mf) Kagliostro |
