I just picked up a slightly larger amp, which should provide a much higher input impedance than the little guy I've got. I'll be sure to try and find the actual rating online before plugging in, though.
About wiring in series: I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that with 4-conductor wiring, as I would also like to be able to utilize the super-switch to split/phase the coils and such. I'll do some research on that, too, unless anyone knows off the top of their head and would like to share!
