Help? Stereo to Mono Output Switch + Preamp Effect Box

Here is the setup:

I just purchased a flame maple godin 5th avenue.

I want to put a K&K Pure Archtop and a floating/suspended jazz kent Armstrong pickup.
Here are the links:

I am going to buy a fishman loudbox mini.

I talked to deiter from K&K and he recommended I attach the kent armstrong to the tip of the stereo guitar jack and put the K&K on the ring.


This is the idea i've come up with.
Guitar (w/ stereo output) > Stereo Cable > Stomp Box > Mono Cable > Amp

I want the stomp box to have a 1 stereo input and 1 mono output. So no double cables are necessary.

I was thinking that i might need a built in preamp for the K&K in the stompbox?

HELP PLEASE? ADVICE?
