We've got a new kid in our band. He's like 14 years old, but a really good piano player.
He's got a Roland Synth, which has an output level of around 2 mV. I have to crank my guitar amp to a prodiguous (?) 10 to get a level of sound to jam to.
I've been thinking of offering to open it up and fix it, but I'm not sure of putting forward an offer I will not be able to fulfil.
Do you think it's worth trying, or should the kid buy a new toy?
