I've ben playing around Fred Nachbaur RIP preamp/studio preamp http://www.dogstar.dantimax.dk/tubestuf/instpre.htm
it works really!(i don't use the tone control), and at his web, there's also 60watt w/complex psu, although I'm still beginner in tubes I'm planning to build 100watt pwr, ...

Does any one can provide schematics?? I still wishes Guru Jacob Erland could build the 100watt power, cos the preamp seem to be good I think (www.gyraf.dk)..or Andrea Ciufoly would provide such amps,

So i need help from anyone here to provide good clean (without any distortion at all) power amp and better psu.. thank you all, and btw I'm not online everyday so I'm sory for that..

That would be a "hi-fi" amplifier.

As long as you don't run it in to clipping, it will be as you call it: "without any distortion at all."

A Marshall or other standard guitar amp is designed and intended to be run with one or more stages in distortion - that is called "tone" in the world of guitar amps.

i see, thx

First I have to correct the title, what I mean is Fixed Bias not Fixed Gain

Hi.. Thanks Bear for the respond, I will search more on the Hi-fi schem, But honesty I still wondering why does some of Mesa Bogiee sounded very clean at hard guitar picking (at setting clean) and quiet enough when I hear the background noise.. I see the schematic but it's too complex. I bet the 30watt (paper by Claus Byrith is working but 30watt is too low) so If anyone could help the right one for me... thxs..

Most of the 100W schems you see for guitar are pretty much the same, using either 4x EL34s or 4x 6L6GCs. They nearly all use a long tailed pair phase inverter, and some negative feedback.

Just pick one, Marshall, Fender, Mesa, etc etc. They're all the same as far as the power amp goes.

Also, with guitar you don't need HiFI to sound clean. A guitar will still sound clean even when distortion levels are really quite high (compared to HiFi). 100W should be more than enough for anybody, without resorting to KT88s and the like.

Hi,
does a guitar amp run in ClassAB, which version or does that bit not matter?

Even though I know class A is cleaner but this time I still learning, so AB does'nt matter, I will also learn more in Trace Elliot Bonnevile there's triode/pentode slection..

Thanks Merlin and everyone.. After see this ...I will start http://www.westlabs.com/ because it so simple than the fender etc, but it's similar to fender schem actually.. I will try to build the West Fillmore the 200watt, and this headphone preamp for clean channel http://www.headwize.com/projects/showproj.php?file=ciuff2_prj.htm
it's a headphone amp actually but i want to try it... I'm about to use tubes rectifier with hybrid rect, see http://www.lundahl.se/hybrid_pow.html
and also use TL783 like the G9 at www.Gyraf.dk for the headphone amp...
well my problem now is collecting $$$$ so if i succeed I will post the pic..
thanks to all..
